About KGS Simcha Hall
For almost eight decades, the Kew Gardens Synagogue has been at the epicenter of Jewish life in Queens. It was a driving force behind the building of the first community Mikvah and the Eruv; the original home of the Mashadi and Russian communities, as well as opening its doors to the Bucharian youth; and serves as the home base of Queens Hatzalah – just to name a few.
Serving the Queens Jewish community has always been our main priority. Now, we have a newly renovated Simcha Hall to provide Kew Gardens & Queens communities at large with a multipurpose venue for their events and celebrations. Our new hall can accommodate large gatherings, social events, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Vorts, Kiddushim, and special programs. It will be equipped with the latest audio and visual systems, as well as a modern kitchen with the ability to cater to hundreds of guests.
Conveniently located in the center of Queens near all major highways, our hall is close to all Jewish communities of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx and Long island.
